We are extremely proud and grateful that we at AQUATEC had the honor to build the first musical dancing fountain of its kind in Bulgaria. The water attraction, which has no analogue in Bulgaria, will delight the residents and guests of the historic city Panagyurishte..
The built fountain is located near "Arena Asarel” and amazes viewers with its scale, beauty and synchronicity of music, light and movement of water jets.
The water pillars, which are shot for hundredths of a second from the the fountain nozzles, reach a height of 30 meters. On a 30 x 15 meter water screen, effects specially developed using video mapping technology are projected using a powerful video projector. The song "Water" by Elitsa and Stunji is broadcast on the water wall with video impression. The musical programme of the fountain, called "Water Palette", currently includes the classical works "Ruchenitsa" from the suite "Thracian Dances" by Petko Stainov, "The Waltz of the Flowers from Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker, Johann Strauss's Thrash-Trash Polka, the iconic aria Nessun Dorma from Puccini's opera Turandot and Fotruna from Carl Orff's oratorio Carmina Burana. Consultants in the selection of the music were the composer Georgi Andreev and Panagyur musicians Pepa Filina and Veselina Zumpalova-Ralcheva.
